so this weekend was my best friend's mom's 50th birthday.
it was probably one of the most lively parties i've ever been to.
everyone was happy to be there!
but most of all susan seemed so happy, which was the best part.

there was amazing mexican food, an abundance of beverage options,
happy people, and a light up hula hoop.

my little brother turns 18.

we went up to my parents this weekend to celebrate my little brother turning 18.
so exciting!

so halloween was awesome and adam and i bought too much candy.

i was a cowgirl.

janey was my horsey.

we live in a condo complex so i tried to be inviting.
i wanted the kiddies to know they were welcome to knock on our door.

in case you were wondering, this is what eleven pounds of candy looks like.
and we always pass out glowsticks.
safety + fun = win win for everyone!

recently.

i've been trying to do at least a little drawing.

but taking pictures of my art supplies seems to be more appealing.

we got new bakeware from mama k.

and a new bodum french press from costco.

we spent the weekend with my family and it was wonderful.
we took janers with us.

we wrestled.

and posed for the camera.

and saw my favorite little redheaded munchkin.
she can fist bump now.
she's literally the coolest baby ever.

janey and adam are both getting annoyed with my relentless picture taking.

and finally, the end of an era.
my biggest little brother had his last high school football game last friday.
it was bittersweet.
but i couldn't be more proud of him, that is for certain.
